A main bathroom, ensuite and laundry across two levels, sequenced so the household kept a working bathroom at every stage.
A bathroom, an ensuite and a laundry on two levels is really three separate jobs that happen to share a driveway. The risk is running them concurrently and leaving the owners nowhere to wash.
We ran them consecutively instead — slower on paper, but the house stayed liveable throughout and the same trades rolled straight from one room into the next.
The laundry was the late addition. Once the walls were open it made no sense to leave it.
